I am from a picturesque area of Great Britain, where my family owned the village shop. I went to Nanny College and my first position was with a millionaire in his London home. The family had six full sets of dinnerware; my addiction began. My next family had a castle! The butlers pantry was full of vintage custom made china sets and glassware… my joy was overflowing. I was transplanted to the Atlanta area when I married my American husband and we are now the proud parents of two Georgia peaches! My girls and I now spend our free time hunting for orphaned loved pieces that need a little TLC. Vintage English Teacup was born when we had no more room, anywhere!

Tea is a tradition for all at any time for us in England. From everyday teapots and dishes in the kitchen to vintage treasures used in the drawing room, it is a part of every celebration and indeed everything does stop for tea. I gave a small tea party for the Royal Wedding last year and it was so well received (an article in the local paper, no less!) that I decided to share my love of orphaned, much loved china with my friends in Atlanta.

Most of my eclectic tableware sets are collected in England on trips back across the "pond". But other retro items and vintage décor have been carefully selected here for an unmistakable vintage event.
