Baby Shower at Avalon Hotel

Creating a fun Baby Shower would seem to be an easy task! However making one memorable and special is an art. Here Laura Maddox was able to bring magic to make this event super memorable. The venue is teh Hotel at Avalon in Atlanta Ga. A new addition to the area and part of the Autograph group. A beautiful modern facility it was truly a joy to work with. The room decor was created with a relaxed family vibe in mind. Shades of blue were the look for the day. Guests were welcomed with a custom sign created especially. Flowers of differing heights and sizes were displayed around the space. Some Tall some table height. All in custom shades of blues for this special baby boy. Linens were in soft blues and we brought in Vintage fine china in varying shades of blue. From stronger spode blue italian to more subtle pale shades for tea cups and side plates. All coordinating with the theme for an over all look. We also provided large platter for lunch service and tiered stands for desserts. Pretty and functional. The hotel catered the event with a fresh lunch menu that was easy for guests to self serve and enjoy the relaxed ambiance of the day.I loved the teddy bears that were at the diaper station adding whimsy and fun. We also brought a selection of Beatrix Potter pieces, cups, bowls, plates to mix and match with the decor of the event. Whimsical and special. All had a great time and the entire day went according to plan. Planning is key for any event and using a professional planner will make your day go easy and smooth.
