This New Years Eve wedding was special for many reasons this year. Not the least for one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever been a part of. The team of super fun vendors who worked so hard and who all had fun whilst doing it were extraordinary. Our leader and creative guru was Laura with Faith Flowers. She designed this wedding so that not a single detail was forgotten and there were so many details. First she created heaven at St Philips Cathedral for the ceremony a huge space that managed to look intimate for the Bride and her Groom. Then the party arrived at Capital City Club , a private club in the heart of Atlanta for cocktail hour on the ground floor. Meanwhile her team was upstairs in one of three ballrooms being prepared for the sit down meal from the french trained chef. Linens from IdoLinens layered the tables from Peachtree tents with shimmer and sparkle. Next were added glass candelabra overflowing with luscious blooms . About a million votives of mercury glass were scattered around the tables for added pizazz. Chargers from BBJ linen were then added and the plated starter was brought out on my vintage fine china plates. The Bride and Groom were delighted with the overall design and thoughtfulness that made this reception so memorable.
After dinner the guests came back down to a transformed ground floor with furniture by Collection, Balloons from Balloonacy,Unique Event elements lighting and music. The linens were changed from soft gold for the bridal reception to stunning Black sequin for night time glamour. All furniture had added pillows in the new palette and florals were transformed. The party continued well into the New Year all captured by Laura Negri Childers. This magical team later won an Allie Award, we are not surprised, a happy creative team produces a happy end result.
