So the photographer is passing a field that for two weeks a year is a bloom with sunflowers. Well who can resist the chance to shoot in a Sunflower field??? We all got very excited an creative for sure and the team at Six Hearts embraces that so that all vendors can do their own thing and do it well. Well this was in an area outside Atlanta and it was July so to say it was a little steamy would be an understatement!!! It was also quite a way from the road to the site we wanted to use so we were all a little drippy when we finally arrived. Vigilante Cosmetics had as usual done their magic ahead of time and the ladies looked flawless. The eye make up in particular was amazing in colors inspired by Janis Joplin era which then spread throughout the entire shoot. I laid a vintage table cloth on the bridge to the sunflower field. Its colors were turquoise, yellow and red cherries really popped on the old wood. Then Wrennwood designs brought some bright zinnias to add more pizazz!! Props of vintage magazines and toys were added and then I layered with bright colored vintage fine china. Some of my favorite pieces are in bright colors or unusual designs and this was a chance to let them out there!!! The ladies played at having tea with my favorite shaped teapot!! and then laid on the linen for a spectacular shot from above.
They then went to the vintage VW bus that was decorated by Liddabits designs because who doesn’t have a vintage vehicle in their sunflower field????
The vintage gowns were from a store in Atlanta called Purple Rosehttp://www.modelmayhem.com/577993 and King of pops provided scrumptious frozen treats which we really needed by the end of the day!!
Despite being in the Georgia countryside this was picked up by Rocknroll Bride in the UK my home, I was more than thrilled to be published where my hometown family and friends could see.
