Glorious riot of fall color made this inspired historic table simply stunning. The concept for this design was a Scottish styled shoot in a Historic ruin.Well The venue at Barnsley Resort features just such a ruin. Once a rather posh home in the country built in 1840s by an Englishman in a style sure to remind him of home, something I can totally sympathize with! Some of the structure fell into disrepair but it is still fascinating to go inside and enjoy the memorabilia on display.
Bart from TailorTable layered textiles to create an Historic European styled look and then added some of my favorite mismatched blue and white pieces to create depth and color. He further created a Wassail bar, this special cocktail of apples after the harvest and eastern spices was popular in Europe until recent times. It warms the heart and the soul according to legend, and tastes pretty good too!
Chef Hayes from Barnsley Gardens prepared a feast for the eyes and the tummy featuring fresh poultry and all the trimmings which we were so happy to display on our vintage fine china platters and serving dishes.
Natalia of TailorTable provided floral abundance to bring it all together. We then donned our models in authentic garb from London Trading Company in Atlanta. Our creative team of Andrea and Robn(gifted make up and hair divas) combined fun and frolicking to make our genetically gifted models look even better!!! In the full editorial shoot you can see the hound that we also had along just to add that added touch of authenticity! The atmosphere of misty moodiness was captured perfectly by Mel Schollaert . I hope you enjoy this sneak peak; see more here.
