We so enjoyed participating in this super fun Sixties styled editorial shoot at Bisham Manor which is an “English castle” in Georgia. The perfect venue for any Bride who dreams of being a Princess on her special day. It was, as you can imagine an ideal location for me to whip up an afternoon tea that was just like home! We began with layering vintage table linens on the wrought iron tables on the wide balcony area at Bisham. Then I began to add vintage fine china serving pieces.Beginning with 3 tiered cake stands, each piece unique and beautiful in its mismatched style. These were filled with English style desserts from Simply Catering one of the most creative caterers who loves to come up with something fun. Finger sandwiches, which were delicious were added. Our designer created a theme of Poppies, which is symbolic of the soldiers who died in the first and second world wars and which we use as a symbol of remembrance. This was followed through in our cake which featured blueberry studs and a cascade of poppies, inside was as delicious as it was beautiful. Eilleen Carter Creations are just so generous and allow us to demolish the cake after the shoot!!!Our Bride was sporting sixties retro style in Lord and Taylor vintage with make up that was sixties style. Our groom was relaxed in red bow tie to match the poppies and an impeccable suit from The Modern Gent. Back at the tables I added vintage Teapots with sugar and creamers and then the lovely trios as we call a plate with a cup and saucer. Perfect for a Tea party for any event but so special for a relaxed Bride and Groom.
The stylized photo shoot was published on Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Magazine.
