Creating the Blue and white wedding of this brides dreams was simply a joy. After much delay and heartache, finally in April 2021
we were able to make it happen. The iconic Atlanta History Center, or better known to locals as teh Swan House was our venue.
As vendors we know that when a wedding takes place at this backdrop it will be a stunner and this was no exception.
The ceremony site at the foot of the ravishing staircase ensures that the Bride will be center of attention as she glides down to
meet her groom. Following the ceremony the cocktail hour takes place in an italianate garden. Then all proceed to the Overlook
ball room for the reception. Furniture included a mix of long farmhouse tables from Crush Event Design and rounds topped with
linens from BBJ. UFE created floral magic with ravishing rose centerpieces and a hedge on the family head table . The cake
table featured a blue linen and the delicious ( thank you for sharing frosted pumpkin) 3 tiered white cake was adorned
with lots of single blooms for a delightful effect.
Vintage English Teacup provided Blue and White chinoiserie plates. All from Spode, (when only the best will do) in coordinating
patterns from the Blue Room collection, Botanicals Collection as well as the iconic Blue Italian. These were used as chargers
which is a fun new trend that brides are bringing to us. It means that as guests enter the ballroom they get the full effect
of the china place settings. This creates the “sharp intake of breath” moment that we vendors just live for! Later as guests
are seated they get to experiance each piece as an art work. Some pieces featured a range of beautiful florals. Others famous
landmarks from Europe. My favorites, if I have any!! are the victorian Zoological society collection. Showing ladies in victorian
gowns looking at “exotic” animals, fabulous conversation starter!
All in all a fabulous night created with a lovely vendor team.
