Peach desserts served on Fine China
Rainy Days and Sundays are not the most conducive to creativity ! This day at glorious Serenbe just south of Atlanta in Georgia was a scorcher.95 degrees with thunder on the way. The intrepid vendors arrived under the direction of shoot organizer Natalie Rebecca Jackson and we began to swelter as we set up first the beautiful table, from Crush Event Design,under an old tree in the pasture near the Old Inn at Serenbe. This was to feature a long evergreen floral runner by Libby with the so creative Amanda Jewel Design.I added some blue and white Chinoiserie place settings from my collection of English China. Then to add to the Southern theme we placed a Georgia Peach on each place setting and put the place cards from Rachel Brewer in the peach!! Seriously, a Peach place card holder!! unique and so appropriate.
In the meantime our delightful models were being dressed and made up nearby by Corrie from Vigilante Cosmetics. This was her first outing since giving birth and she was thrilled to chat with adults! Our models hair was a sight to behold, absolutely glorious and her makeup was soft and natural. Her gown from ChantelleLauren was heaven in blue and white and so floaty and elegant.Finishing touch from Tumpet and horn jewelry. Our gentleman in blue from Suit Supply admitted to being a bit of a side show! He knew our Bride was the center o attention and he was to make her look even more lovely!
We next set up the dessert bar featuring pies from Buttermilksky and maesbakeryatl ,delicious and gorgeous with it, featuring again peach! Also here we has our great acrylic signs from Along the lines by KB such a wow factor with anything it was in front of. Finally our guest and vow books custom made in Milton Ga by olClaireMagnia.
When I say it was extraordinary how beautifully this team of photographers captured this Peach shoot.Let me explain the thunderstorm that hit us just as we were shooting! The heavens opened and mayhem ensued. Everything was covered in plastic we regrouped and made it work!
