As featured on http://sweetvioletbride.com/2013/12/victorian-garden-styled-shoot-renee-brock-photography/with award winning photographer http://reneebrock.com/Renee Brock this was a happy day with a bunch of gifted and talented people. The idea came from Chancey Charm who decided to use the in town but gloriously garden style Cator woolford Gardens as our venue. This combines in town location with a riot of gardens that make any event outstanding. The tables and other vintage furniture were from Crush who combined a vintage look with in town elegance to make a soft sophisticated shoot even more beautiful. These tables were layered in frothy textural linens from Nuage.and we were able to begin to layer. Sherry at Gertie Maes created some of the most beautiful arrangements that I have ever seen. And I have seen her work a lot, she is so gifted and these were just exceptional. Then I was able to place some delicate china places settings in shades of summer, more pastels but with some more robust shades too. I added tea cups and saucers and some teapots for decor. Adding personality and punch to the table. Next was flatware and I used vintage hankies as a napkin to bring all the place settings together I feel in harmony! Foglio press provided inspired place cards and menu cards and Ann Kathleen gave us a soft lovely cake which Sherry decorated with flowers.
Our models who were lovely UGA students were ministered to by Claudia Mejerle and dressed in The Sentimentalist gowns. They were then draped in jewelry for that finishing touch. I just loved when they poured signature cocktails from a vintage teapot!! such a fun idea and one that Brides use frequently for both receptions and indeed Bridal showers. This is really an inspiration and I met some of the most talented vendors in Atlanta this day.
